My Charge 2 is almost 2 years old. Every so often my heart rate shows a spike normally at the beginning of a walk. The spike shows up on the actvity section but sometimes it does not appear on the the heart rate section. The intensity of the exercise is low to moderate. I tried moving the band up and tightening it at the beginning of exercise and that seemed to cure it. But today I showed the spike again (it registered for about 1 minute). Do you think this situation is an anomaly? As this happened to anyone else. By the way, I am 64 years old and I have had an echocardiogram and stress test and they have come back normal.

Not the same issue but my heart rate records differently in different sections of the app, so I'm pretty sure it's highly inaccurate.
If you've had proper medical tests that are normal, it sounds like the fitbit is malfunctioning and that is entirely unsurprising (although disappointing).
