Hello. What could've caused this and what can I do to fix it?
My steps for Thursday and my hourly dot count are wonky (and I believe the dot count changed from what it showed during the day on Thursday).
The app's Steps screen show one number but when I click on the arrow to go to the next screen, that one shows over 7,000 steps less.
When I look at the dot count screen, it shows on 10 (!!) of 14 -- it no longer shows that I walked 250 steps or more for 6a, 7a, 8a, or 9a. That's interesting because at the very least I walked 1/2 mile to work from the garage (during 6a hour).
I've never seen this before (this is my third Charge) and no other day this week has this issue.
Thank you.

Let's just talk steps first.
Are you looking at phone's app? Which tile are your reading steps from? Is it the big circle at the top of the app's home screen? If so when you click an arrow at the side, it goes to the previous or next day's steps totals, so it should not read the same thing.
Otherwise, please give more detail about where you are reading the numbers.

Yes, this is on the phone app.
The "Steps" screen that one reaches after clicking on the big circle at the top of the app's home screen -- Steps at the top of the screen; bar graph below; "Try hitting 10,000 ...;" This Week; list of Steps day by day. Each step row has an arrow at the right side that takes one to a bar graph for the hourly activity for that day. That next screen still has matching number of steps for Thursday. When I click on the double arrow at the top right of that screen to get more detail from the graph, the number of steps listed at the top of that final page has the wrong number of steps.
Thank you.

Now I follow but, sorry, I have no idea who or how that would happen.

Hey. Did you even get an answer, or figure out how to fix this?
Mine is currently doing the same, and when doing challenges, the challenge uses the breakdown count. Which is always lower.
very frustrating when you are trying to compete with others.

No, I didn't get a satisfactory answer. And didn't figure out to fix it. There were some days that in syncing I would receive far fewer hourly dots than I'd gotten during the day, than the watch had shown me. And other issues. Too buggy. 😞

I’m having the same problem and have been for about 4 or 5 weeks or so. (Maybe a little more)
i can do 14 active hours and have them display on my wrist, I check the app and I’ve done 6. Or I can have my dot at 9, I look again at 11 and the 9 dot has gone. And active minutes can be zero when I’ve been continually active.
calories burned are going backwards/deleting with each sync although they do seem to oddly rectify at the start of each new day.
I’ve done all the restart things, updated, everything. Still the same problem.
It is currently showing me I’ve done 29 active minutes. Yet I’ve been on the go since 6 am and have done almost 10 miles.
Something is still wrong here. Is there a fix I’m missing? It is ticking me right off 😖
