Fitbit Update 04/28/2017: We are expecting that some Charge 2 users' stats will not reset at midnight on the night of 04/30 - the morning of 05/01. This is an issue that our team is aware of and working to resolve.
If you're affected by this issue, we are currently unable to retroactively fix/delete the steps that were accumulated. I apologize for the inconvenience and can assure you that we are working to get this resolved as soon as possible. I will make sure to share fix updates as soon as I hear of them and appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

I had this problem occur last night (10/3/18). My steps, floors and miles carried over. Everything else reset. Please let us know if there is another bug we should be aware of. Thanks!

So, app up to date, time zone automatic, sync through the day on...
and it rolls over to 31.03.2019 in the UK...and.....
all my steps from the previous day haven't reset!
This is a 2 year old issue!!!
How do I take off yesterdays steps?

I've got the same issue - woke up with ALL my steps from yesterday still showing on my Charge 2.
I have reset as advised so I am guessing that tonight at midnight it will 0 again?

Thanks for this. So do we need to do anything? Or just wait for midnight tonight?

I have owned fitbits for some time now, mostly pleased witg them. However the last two have been disastrous I upgraded to Charge 2 after one failed, had problems with the wristbands falling off, which could have lost my fitbit. The bands were exchanged under warranty one set recently this morning. Now,however, it failed to reset last night 31/3 to 1/4 - presumably due to the hour going back in England I was unaware of this happening to others, I discovered it when I went to my en suite and looking at the time discovered i had covered just under 5 thousand steps!
I was rather cross and rang to ask for a replacement - after having suffered so many things going wrong. The gentleman at the call center in Bulgaria insisted on my having it reset tonight instead. I explained that I was going on Monday to an activity holiday in St. Lucia and really wanted a viable fitbit. He did not explain that others had suffered and also refused to let me speak to someone in authority. Can you advise what you will do now and assure me that this will be the last time I will have cause to complain.

I cannot stand the thought of spending more hours phoning the call centre,

The are several common reasons for the tracker to not rest at midnight.
Traveling or a time change and the synced set the time forward from 23:xx to 00:xx, this causes the watch to change days but not see the time change. Easily to fix be support with a little change in logic.
People who turn their tracker odd at night, usually ate fine, but not always for the same reason.

Hello everyone.
I will gladly assist you with this. @Rich_Laue mentioned there are several reasons this may happen. This may happen when there is a change in timezone (due to travel or DST changes). You can restart your device as this will help it reset the following midnight but it won’t remove the steps from the affected date.
Keep me posted
