Fitbit Update 04/28/2017: We are expecting that some Charge 2 users' stats will not reset at midnight on the night of 04/30 - the morning of 05/01. This is an issue that our team is aware of and working to resolve.
If you're affected by this issue, we are currently unable to retroactively fix/delete the steps that were accumulated. I apologize for the inconvenience and can assure you that we are working to get this resolved as soon as possible. I will make sure to share fix updates as soon as I hear of them and appreciate your continued patience and understanding.

Hi
My steps reset fine and syncing is fine but floors no longer register. I have checked everything that I have seen on posts regarding this, restarted my fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled the app cleaned the back etc but still no joy. I literally climbed our one and only mountain on Monday morning and it registered the first 12 floors and nothing after that. It had been working fine before the 1st, can you help please.

My steps have now rolled over two days in a row. I tried resetting it, All-Day Sync is on, and I'm not sure what else to do. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I live in a single story home and usually have to walk in areas with hills to log floors. My counts for floors are usually from 0 to 20 depending on a day's activity. Yesterday my fitbit charge 2 "registered" 352 floors so "earning" 2 or 3 badges. I did not do anything different. I did not try to scale any mountains. I woke up today with two floors. Fifteen minutes later I am up to six. This is a problem with Fitbit. I understand there has been a recent upgrade. Has this problem been acknowledged by Fitbit and is it being addressed. Oh yes, I did do a reset yesterday - twice.

My Fitbit has not been able to sync to my iPhone app since all of this happened. The problem is obviously still not resolved yet.

When i checked my tracker after playing squash this am, it showed i had gone over 5 miles. I had a good session, but not THAT good. The individual stats on the workout were accurate (~4k) but the daily total showed + 12k (which suggests it added yesterday's 8.6k). Did this reset happen for other people last evening and will it happen for me tonight. A bit annoying... I don't care about badges, I've got an event coming this weekend and would the tracker to work accurately (yes, logged in out, restarted Charge2, etc.) Do i need to do anything else?

My floors also did not reset 5/2 to 5/3... Calories burned did not reset. Only sleep appears to have reset.

@rena.grossman -- mine did reset. Although before going to bed i logged out and back into the app, restarted my phone and did the soft reset (holding the side button on the Fitbit itself while plugged in). I hope this helps you!

Hi, I have only recently upgraded my Fitbit to the Charge 2 and have had niggles with it recently only this morning I did 14837 steps before I even got out of bed! Yesterdays steps, floors, calories etc have all carried over. How do I fix this? I am preparing for a Cancer Research Challenge and rely on my tracker. Is this a tracker problem or a software issue? Do I need to return my tracker?

I went through a time zone change on 5/12 and my Charge 2 did not reset at midnight. We'll see what happens tonight.

I've not had any problems with time change and travel frequently (knock wood). I do sync my Fitbit when I land (even before deplaning). Perhaps if you be sure to sync with the phone before midnight it would help? I don't have mine on all day sync and maybe if you didn't sync the tracker got confused? No clue really, I hope it helps?

All of my data resets with the exception of sleep. For weeks now, my nightly sleep times have been 17-18 hours....wow! Will these numbers reflect on my cardio score, etc?

My calories won't reset. Does that count as the same thing? It's been like that for about a month?

Mine will not reset and I have tried all the trouble setting ideas. This is frustrating. Seems like with all the IT people and technology out there they could figure this one out. We paid a lot for this devices so they ought to do what they are supposed to. Fitbit IT guys need to be fixing this problem. Seems to have bee going on for a while. Sorry, this is just frustrating and using my fitbit is important. I am busy and do not have time to stop and do math to figure out my step. I will be calling later on, once they are awake and open in their time zone.

Give up on the forums. Use Live Chat support. They asked me questions about things that might have affected the device and then had me do a reset. That didn't help so they sent me a new one. Took about ten days to get it.
