There were no more than 200 steps today. Steps not resetting at midnight. How could this be? There is now no known date. Restart is not used. The step number did not change. Help!!Snap18.png!. This way the device is completely useless !!!2018-01-24 08.12.39.pngSnap20.png2018-01-24 08.11.56.png

Me too. I rebooted hoping it would fix it but no change. Hopefully it will reset tonight. Another reason to get rid of daylight savings time!

This just happened to me after the daylight saving time change on Sunday morning (2019 March 10). I had no idea what caused it, but now that I see this forum I realize it was a glitch in the firmware caused by the time change. The posts indicate a fix for this bug was coming soon, but that was over a year ago. Is there actually a date in place for this, or did my Fitbit miss receiving the update? Thank you.

Oh, and the steps to reset the device appear to have worked, since it is reset now, but it would be much better to have a firmware update that fixes the bug permanently so it doesn't recur every time the time changes. Hopefully the software fix will happen soon. Thank you.

Not resetting the steps today happened to both my wife's and my charge 2 fitbits. We are in Mexico just now and the "spring ahead" time changed on Sunday morning. Today is Monday. The counters reset yesterday (Sunday) but not today.

I see users have been reporting this bug for at over a year! It's pretty poor that Fitbit has still not corrected it.

This just happened to me today, just after Midnight on April 30th. Why hasn’t this been fixed yet, Fitbit? I see it’s been a problem for over a year!

This happened to me and the vibrations ay midnight alerting me that I’d met my step goal did too. Freaked me out cause I was asleep. Figured it was just a delayed notification since I didn’t feel the vibrations when I hit my step goal earlier in the day. Noticed in the AM that steps had not reset. Will have to try the update stuff to see if it’ll reset at midnight tonight but what a bother. Defeats the purpose of this device.

This happened to me too. I thought I reset my Fitbit last night but nothing reset. Tried again just now and I suppose will have to wait until tomorrow. I'm up to 35000 steps. Not true.

Yesterday was my first day using my FitBit Charge 2.  This morning it would not reset.  I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it.  Not only did it reset my information for yesterday was still available.  I didn't have to wait till midnight and my FitBit is working fine now.  Not sure if this issue will happen again tomorrow morning, but at least I know my information will not be lost if I have to repeat this process.
