If I don't have my fitbit with me, my phone doesnt record my steps on the Fitbit app, and doesn't update on syncing.
I have a feeling that it used to do so but I may be wrong.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you, Kearley Jay.

Hello @KearleyJay and welcome to the Community. I apologize if I am misreading what you wrote. If you want your phone to count your steps if you aren't wearing your Fitbit, you need to set up MobileTrack on your phone. Tap on your profile picture on the upper left > + Set Up a Device > MobileTrack (at the bottom of the screen). It is my understanding that some phones don't support MobileTrack.
