Steps per hour aren't matching with Fitbit app

This has to be the weirdest yet, I do the 250 steps every hour and every day, apart from having syncing issues my Charge 3. Has registered my 4 hours but my phone has only 3 I'm dumbfounded by this. At present I am hating that my husband bought me this Fitbit, having nothing but annoying problems. The time and hassle is really not worth it. So annoyed as this thing isn't cheap 😡😡

It's great to see you around @Curdles.

If your steps per hour aren't matching, I recommend trying the following:

  • Reboot the Bluetooth on your phone
  • Log out/log in to your Fitbit account
  • Force quit the Fitbit app
  • Restart your Charge 3
  • Force sync it

Let me know the outcome. Robot Happy

Not so strange, I posted this issue 3 days ago but got only one response from a user that was having the same issue!  Watch tells me I made the hour but app doesn't!  I have restarted the watch but it's hard to monitor the hours and count steps to see if it is fixed. It was very annoying to get the buzz that said I needed ONE step, so I got up and did several, buzzed and got it on watch.  (Yesterday I only missed one hour and I don 't think the watch buzzed..another issue I guess!)  It was also sad the other day when the watch gave me the congratulations on 14 hours but not on app!   I will add that sometimes this issue can occur if you have more than one Fitbit attached to your account, but I only have one.

Hi calm down first and what kind of Fitbit do you have if you have the Fitbit charge three like me wait till the next day that happened to me but don’t get mad over a **ahem**ing Fitbit ok

I have the same issue.  So, yeah.  Tried all that.  Didn't work.

I'm sorry I gave up my Samsung Gear.  Used to be a loyal Fitbit person, NOT ANY MORE.

The outcome?

IT DOESN'T WORK.  Please try to come up with something more original than "turn it off and turn it back on."

I’m having the same problem and restarting the device does not help

Tried the fix recommended but doesn’t work. So annoying!

Tried those things more than once.  Doesn't help.  This entire week, my watch does not match with the app.  Think Fitbit needs to do something on their side!!

Frustrating!  I love this tracker but wish this issue could get resolved.

I just did what was suggested for you and I still have that issue. It just started for me last week. I don’t know why though. Had been syncing just fine. Also I have Fitbit verse.
