I added a walk using the Log Previous. I put in the incorrect time, so I added it again with the correct time and deleted the incorrect one. My total steps are now showing as double even though I deleted one of the walks. Is there any way I can correct my total steps for that day?

I'm sorry to hear that your steps were not removed when you deleted your first activity. Thank you for the information provided.
This is definitely not an expected behavior. I would recommend deleting the activity for that day once again to see if there is any change. You can log it back then.
If necessary, you can negate extra data by going to this article, select "How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?" and follow the instructions.
