Stiff wristbands connector

Hi, I have a Fitbit charge 2 and I’ve already changed the wrist bands previously but not for a long time. I’ve been trying to detach it so I can replace it with new ones but it doesn’t move at all. I applied just a gentle pressure first and then tried more with tools but it doesn’t move at all. It might be broken. Is there a way to take it off or do I need to get a new Fitbit ??

Hello @Martina5 and welcome to the Community.  Here is the page from the Charge 2 manual that shows you how to remove a band.

I don't think the top picture is the best.  That latch doesn't move very much and it is easier to use your fingernail, not the pad of your finger. Your fingernail should still be holding the latch open as you slide the band up.  Make sure you are trying to move the latch, not the prong of the pebble.

Thank you but that’s what I’ve been doing and even though the metal parts bend, they don’t release it at all. I can’t try to wiggle it and pull up at all. It’s still fully locked.

@Martina5   I'm sorry, but I don't have any other suggestions or tricks.
