Strap keeps coming off on 1 side

Mine was bought as a present 

I thought there was maybe something wrong with the original strap as it kept coming off at bottom of Fitbit screen

Borrowed a friends strap & its the same 

Now think the problem all along has been the watch 

It’s under a year old bought from Argos 

My boyfriend still has receipt but unsure if it’s still under warranty/guarantee

Is it the strap or the anchor?

I wear mine @work & caught it in the seam of a piece I was building. When I pulled my hand free the band pulled from that side. 

 

I was able to buy a replacement band and it pulled free easily, but did not release when resecured.

 

So, is it the band anchor? Could it have been bent or damaged? Just a thought.
