Sudden persisting "Enable location services" nags

In the past hour my Fitbit app (iPhone) has begun nagging me EVERY TEN MINUTES to turn on "Always Allow" location services. I don't want location services turned on at all; I don't need any distance calculations.  I went into settings and changed it from While Using the App to Never, and it STILL keeps popping up: "Please open setting and enable locaiton services for advanced tracker functionality." Which I am not interested in. 

 

How can I stop this? Thanks in advance.

I mean, I know I can turn off ALL Fitbit notifications, but that seems silly as a solution to a nag that I shouldn't be getting because I already said no.

For whatever reason, it's not happening anymore today - I turned on Fitbit notifications an hour ago and no more unwanted notifications.  So, case closed.
