Suggestion to control brightness from the Fitbit App

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My 1 1/2 year old charge 3 has become dim recently, many others have the problem on fitbit.com. I cannot control brightness and troubleshooting actually made it dimmer. Now I can't even see indoors. If I could fix this on my app, I'd be fine.

I can think of no reason why we should not be able control all the settings from app. That would simplify rebooting it, changing the brightness, etc. (Dim = invisible under all light conditions thus impossible to get out of without rebooting. Probably should just get rid of dim.) I was lucky my first Fitbit became too dim to read before the warranty expired. My second sometimes gets too dim but rebooting it has so far worked.

Hello everyone. @CantSeeCharge3, welcome to the community forums!

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide your feedback and suggestions! Currently, there isn't an available option to manage the brightness and other settings integrated on your Charge 3, directly on the Fitbit App. While this is not available, you may consider to provide your suggestion through the Feature Suggestions board so our developers can take it into consideration for new updates or product development.

On a side note, I appreciate your help in following some troubleshooting steps prior to posting! Please note that if changing the brightness or restarting your Charge 3 won't work, my best recommendation would be to contact our Support Team for further assistance. Click here to get connected.

See you around.
