I've looked at all other questions which don't give me the answer I'm looking for.
I have a Charge 2 and have recently bought a MANUAL treadmill because I want the extra power in my legs rather than my legs just falling into place on an electric one.
Only problem is, with manual treadmills you have to hold onto the handle bars. This obviously does not allow steps to be counted.
I have tried logging the treadmill action on the app but it gives me way over my calories and barely any steps. When I choose walk as my log option, it does the opposite.
Also because I cannot gage distance being on a treadmill but I have to enter it into both of these options, I don't know what to put so it's a guess at best. Which must mess up my readings.
So what setting should I be using? On a manual treadmill where my arms don't move and I don't know my distance. I go by time (ie 30 minute walk).
Any advice in greatly appreciated!
Thanks

@LadyChandler Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Thank you for your inquiry. I suggest you use the treadmill option to record your activity. This will have your heart rate data so it should provide better caloric burn calculation. Regarding the distance you could refer to your treadmill manual. You can also try counting your steps for a certain period of time and calculate your stride length following these instructions to calculate the distance.
Let me know how it goes!
