Dear Community (re: Unmatched question).
Today I synced after waking, examined sleep analysis and resynchronised just two or three minutes later, getting a completely different analysis as regards both proportions and time-distributions of the four components (Sleep, REM, Light and Deep).
This was on my year-old Charge2.
The start and end times of sleep were the same in both (to the nearest minute or two).
The total sleep time was different from other recent nights, so I wasn't seeing different nights - definitely comparing two analyses of the same night's sleep and, presumably, the same data. (Technically, there might have been a slight difference in the 'boundary conditions', but this shouldn't have a major effect if the analysis is consistent with the collected data).
Can anyone (especially FitBit technical staff) suggest a reasonable explanation, please?

@iSeeker Thanks for stopping by!
Sorry to hear that your sleep logs aren't correct. Not sure why this may have happened but it could be that if you remained stationary (or at least not moving your arms or tracker too much) then the device thought you slept for a little longer and the servers (which analyze your data) made corrections to the logs. Still I would like to know if this has happened again? Have you tried replicating this incident? You could try taking a screenshot whenever you first see your sleep logs and save it in the case it changes later.
Keep me posted.

Thanks, Alvaro,
First, I'll have to look up how to take a screenshot on a Kindle Fire.
I'll try it when I can spare some time.

Hi Alvaro,
While I didn't manage to get differences on merely re-sync-ing, I have now got 4 pairs of screen shots showing the differences after amending the sleep start and/or end times. Some show an extra 25 mins of sleep.
Can I post a .docx file to you? I don't think I can send a link.
