Switching device from one person to another

I switched my old Charge 2 to my husband as I received a Versa 2 for Christmas. He signed up and downloaded the FitBit app and Bluetooth on his device is not syncing it. Any advice?

Did you remove it from your account?

If using phone app, on your phone,click profile pic at top left, then Charge 2, then wastebasket icon at top right.  Then, in phone's bluetooth settings, un pair the Charge 2 from your phone.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Thank you! That worked. I had disconnected it but did not unpair it on my phone
