Create a S/W  update to allow FITBIT HR to sync only with blue tooth, without WIFI or clellular data . it cant be that hard if other fitness app suppliers can do it. This would solve a lot of sync problems

The problem with that is the way fitbit designed it. They chose to hold all the data on the fitbit servers so that you can use multiple devices to access it and it's all safe should you lose or change your phone.

So, to sync, you need bluetooth access to connect your phone to the fitbit but you also need internet access to connect to the fitbit servers.

That is fine and dandy, other manufacturers do the same, keep a backup on their severs but still allow you to update the app on your phone strictly with Bluetooth. Why can’t fit bit do the same?? The data would go to Fitbit the first time wifi was available. Please reconsider and provide a S/W fix that allows the app on the phone to update without wifi.

Asking your fellow Fitbit users for help with an issue that will need to be handled by Fitbit....

You may want to go to the forum for giving suggestions to the Fitbit developers.

We so have a suggestion that votes may be added to.

Allow Offline syncing / Store data locally

Can you name a connected watch that works offline? Garmin and Apple don't.

Runtastic - Steps (Adidas) works and syncs offline. Also would allow to set the clock on the HR
