Syncing with new Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Older phone is still paired with charge 2 and syncs although not consistently. I have a new Note 9 and Bluetooth does not find my fitbit. I reset the fitbit, uninstalled and reinstalled the app on the new phone. Help!

Hey @Calico2018, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! As @MrJrSr said, you can  download the Fitbit app notifications to your Samsung Galaxy Note 9, just keep in mind that I can't guarantee that once is installed, it'll work. But try that out and let me know how it goes!

Hey @PatriM333, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! I appreciate the update. Sounds great that your Charge 2 is getting notifications. That tip might help out other users with the same issue, to solve it.

@Calico2018, I think that one could be the app that some other users mentioned in this thread, but I can't tell that it'll work with your Charge 2. Just keep that in mind.

Keep me posted!

The Note 9 is a flagship phone by Samsung.  It's been out now for almost 3 months.  The fact that there has been no support added for this device has shown me that FitBit is not the company for me.  We're on our way to Verizon at this very second to get a Galaxy Watch.  Your consumer base should not have to wait 3 months for you to get around to adding it to your compatible device list.  If you valued your customers, this would be a priority with all major phone brands.  Especially with how popular the Note is.

I have been using it with my Note 9 for a while now  It works with the Note 9, S9 and the S9 plus. It I were you I would try turning off the SPen setting or adding the Fitbit Notifications App. I had the Galaxy Watch and hated it. Nowhere near as good as the Fitbit

THANK YOU!  I purchased my note 9 on 11/23/18. This tip to turn off the S pen remote worked for me. My charge 2 is syncing perfectly now - and I've been able to reconnect the S pen remote and receive notifications!! So happy!

Hey @SLR59, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is on the compatible devices list, so you should have no inconveniences to sync it with your Charge 2 or get notifications. However, if you are experiencing difficulties to sync, please take a look at the instructions in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Let me know how it goes!
