How do I get my fit bit and my phone linked back up so when I get text messages they come through on my fit bit.  I have the Charge 2 fit bit.  Can anyone help me so that I can get this set up again from my phone to my fit bit again.  I enjoy that feature. I had it then it went away. I would like to get it back again

Thank you Peggy

Check you don't have notifications turned off. Holding in the side button a few seconds toggles notifications off and on. Sometimes it can get accidentally get turned off when pressing the button too long.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Same issue. Have done all of the fixes suggested on line/forums with no luck. I have the iPhone SE, notifications are turned on, latest firmware, chatted with Fitbit help today and they had no suggestions. Had me send them screen shots of my phone and Fitbit settings and they were going to escalate the issue. I’m thinking it is a firmware update bug. Thoughts?

my notifications button is always on. So it's not that.  I have checked that all the time.  So not sure what is the problem

Seemingly a bug within the Fitbit app that Fitbit is supposed to be fixing...when?

It was quite nice when it worked. Pretty much a big reason why I got this particular Fitbit

I have same issues, as did my sister. She got her charge 2 a few weeks before I did and recently the notifications just stopped. A few days ago mine also stopped. I've done all recommended "fix its". Does not work.

There are 3 versions of the app for 3 different phones, and this question is about the phone app, probably not the Charge 2. We would be able to give specific help if we knew the model of the phone.

If it is a Charge 2 problem make sure that the Charge 2 is not in its DND mode by holding on the button while viewing the watc-.

I don't know. But it's not coincidental that both our charge 2's stopped working almost a year later.

I still don’t receive text/phone notifications on my tracker. I was told that it is a FitBit app issue that they are working on?!

Moi aussi c'est au bout de 1 an tout juste que mon charge 2 ne veut plus synchroniser et s'associer avec mon téléphone.

Okay, Good news. I did press and hold the button down on my charge 2 (showing clock) and yay, I'm getting texts. Haven't checked phone calls yet but I am presuming that'll work, too.One small thing, it seemed to me that before I would feel the vibration and see that I had gotten a message. Now, I have to touch the screen. Not a big thing, but I liked just glancing at it.

@Rainydaye3  I can't think of any reason Charge 2 wouldn't vibrate with notification. Maybe see if you can get a "reminder to move" vibration at ten of an hour, or set an alarm to check if it vibrates.

I got mine working again.  Not sure how I did it but between talking with the help desk and doing a few things on my own.  Mine has been working again.  Glad I got it working.

Lucky you!

I’m still having no luck!

Might be time to exchange for a Garmin or an Apple Watch. It shouldn’t be so difficult 🙂

Not me. I love my Fit Bit. I'll keep trying to get it back the way it was.
