Tiles disappearing after unpairing device

Hello Community, thanks for your input

I have a Charge 2 that I'm transitioning to a friend. I unpaired the Charge 2 after ensuring it was 'synced', but all of my information and settings disappear after unpairing. The only 'Today' content that is an option is Calories. There are only 5 other categories showing, but none include sleep, steps, HR, or any primary content.

I re-paired the Charge 2, and all of the info reappeared. I went through this cycle three times. On the third attempt, I was viewing the information on the website. After unpairing the Charge 2, my info disappeared. After re-pairing the Charge 2, the information reappeared.

Does anyone know of the solution?

Hi @Palyndromic, welcome to the Community Forums! Sorry for the delayed reply.

Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if when you unpair the Charge 2 from your account, the stats that were synced disappear or the tiles as itself? Based on the information that was shared in your post, it seems that are the tiles the ones that disappear, therefore, after unpairing the device, please try the steps that are specified on our help article: How do I remove or rearrange stats on the Today tab in the Fitbit app? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted and let me know if you have any additional questions.

Thanks for the reply and suggestion. A software team is currently looking at this.

I Unpaired the Fitbit again, and went into the edit section. The only tile available for me to manage under Activity Items is Calories burned. The 'Today' items show Activity, Exercise, Weight, Water, and Food.

When I Re-Pair the Fitbit, the missing options all return.

You're welcome @Palyndromic, sorry for the delayed reply.

This is certainly not a common situation and I'd like to further investigate it to resolve it as soon as possible. Therefore, can you please send me some screenshots showing that when the device is unpaired from your account, the tiles disappear? You can refer to this post for instructions of how to attach a screenshot into your post.

Looking forward to your reply.
