After the battery died and I had to recharge my Charge 3, the time and date were incorrect so I had to reset it, which reset the date and time correctly. But, now I cannot see the date/time by turning my wrist; I have to press the button on the left of the face to get the data. Any support to resolve this quirk would be much appreciated!

Press left side button; look for 'Screen Wake'; tap to toggle on or off.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

My Charge 3 has become next to useless because I cannot read the face. I have toggled screenwake numerous times over recent weeks IF I CAN SEE IT TO TOGGLE. At times this has resulted in a visible screen for a few minutes, but then it reverts to blank again. Not sure I want to replace it with another Charge 3 if it will have the same problem. What is wrong with it?
