@domy650 It's great to see that you've visited the Fitbit Community! Your tracker won't auto-recognize this activity but you can use the workout option on your tracker and then just rename it on your account once you have synced your tracker.
Let me know how it goes!

@domy650 I suggest the workout above all other options so you can rename it at a later time. If you are concerned that you won't get a good caloric burn calculation then you could just manually log the activity so you can not only enter the name but also the details like the amount of calories burned (check an online calorie calculation to know how many calories to enter).
Keep me posted!

Hi, I noticed you said that you can change the name from 'Workout' to a custom name. I have a Charge 2 fitbit and I can not find this option anywhere. Please help / give instructions on how to do this

@Em1995 Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! You will need to do this from either the app or the website. Just go to the activities area and tap/click the workout activity. You will see a pencil icon that you can use to edit said activity and rename it.

@domy650 I guess you have an iOS device in this case you will see three dots at the top right corner that you can tap to see the editing options (check the pictures taken from an iPad):

@domy650 I am sorry it was my mistake to be honest. I was doing what I do on Android but I have been enlightened on how this works for iOS. Instead of tapping the three dots you have to tap the "Categorize Exercise" there you can rename the activity to Rock Climbing.
Sorry for the confusion again and let me know if this works for you!

Just picking this up - a year or so late - and I can't seem to be able to rename exercise workout to 'climbing'. Any updated tips please?
