Why can't I turn off the "sync all day" feature. It should still be our option to decide which one works best for us.

According to Fitbit:
"To improve your experience with notifications, syncing, and firmware updates, we removed the option to turn off all-day sync from the Fitbit app. When your phone is near your Fitbit device with Bluetooth turned on, it periodically syncs with the Fitbit app to update your stats and download available firmware updates. More frequent syncing rarely, if ever, noticeably decreases your device’s battery life"

Perhaps they don't see any benefits from turning it off. Why would you like to be able to turn it off?

I like to sync in the evening when I am done with all activities, just a
preference

They only seem to care about their device. What about this app sucking my iPhone battery at night? FitBit, put back the switch to turn off all day sync. Background app refresh is off and this thing keeps draining my phone. I’m ready to crush this thing someplace with a hammer.
