Uh oh. Charge 4 band connector snapped off?

I was attempting to replace my Charge 4 band (I’ve replaced Fitbit bands successfully in the past) and bit of plastic snapped off the main display while a tiny metal spiral spring fell out and was instantly lost — it was very small.

This seems… bad. The issue isn’t with the replacement band, but the main unit itself. Is there a plastic equivalent to metal fatigue?

Is there anyway to repair this? I’d hate to throw out a perfectly good device. Wasteful.

i can post a photo if necessary.

thanks!

Hello @yikesahootie and welcome to the Community.  No photo necessary.  This seems to happen a lot to Charge 4 users.  I think some have recommended this replacement band or something like it.  You put the whole pebble into the frame.
