Seems that there are a lot of questions regarding adding friends but have not been satisfactorily answered.

 

Can someone really help and advise how I can get Fitbit to access my contact list so that I can invite my friends to join my community.

Hello @Dennis85 posting in the hardware board about a Fitbit app issue without mentioning the phone the app is on will not be easy to help with. 

Does your Fitbit app have permission to access your contact list? 

You can also always copy paste the wanted email address.

Apologies for not including the phone, I am using an Apple X and Fitbit App
on the phone.

Appreciate if you could kindly advise how can to I permit Fitbit to access
my contacts.
