Unable to change activity type in the app or online dashboard anymore

I used to have to start my bike ride as a walk in the app as there was never an option for ‘bike or ride’ only run, walk or hike and I could then change this to ride once I’d finished, but now this feature isn’t available in the app or in my online dashboard.

Fitbit / Google why has this feature/option been removed without giving me to option for ride when starting an activity in the app?  Why make things harder for your customers?  It just doesn’t make sense to no longer have this available.

Having been able to change the activity type from a walk to a ride in the past was great, but now not having this is very frustrating!

Having read other threads on this topic and reading the comments I am now too thinking of ditching my Fitbit after being a loyal customer for 10 years and switching to another brand of activity tracker!

@Lulubella_m   Your Charge 2 has an Exercise app on the device that tracks biking and has connected GPS for a map.  How do I track my workouts with my Fitbit device?  The Exercise app will track your bike ride as a bike ride, without the need to change the name after you are done.
