After my 8mth old Charge 3 stopped working (see other post) I have bought a replacement. Working through the setup, I can pair, but I have been trying for two days to get past Step 2 of 3 which then sets up the new Fitbit with my existing account. I have turned Bluetooth on and off. Ideas?
Now up the about my 20th attempt. The timer shows it is progressing through step 2 of 3 and reaches about 15% download and starts again at 1%. It shouldn't be this difficult. Since I bought it yesterday I'm thinking of getting a refund on this dude.
Thanks In Advance 😊

It sounds like you might be referring to the firmware update. Is that correct. This only happens after the tracker has been Conected to your account v
What phone do you have? If android after the download starts, move the app to the background. If you do not, the download fails when the phones screen locks.

I thought it odd. After the umteenth time of trying to get past Step 2, a screen appeared saying something like you need an update. I clicked on it and next thing I find I'm at Step 3 and my Fitbit is now linked and working. Confused? I am!
Thanks for your reply.
