@Baldguy I've moved your post to the Other Charge Trackers board so you can receive more related responses. Thanks for bringing this to our attention and because your post didn't mention, may I know if you've adjusted the brightness level and make sure the Sleep Mode is turned off? You can do this by following the steps described in this help article.
If this doesn't help, let me recommend restarting your Charge 3 and monitoring its performance afterward.
