I want to give my charge 2 to my brother and hence I removed the device from my account. Even though the device is removed from my account i am to able to see fitbit.com/setup screen on my charge 2.
I searched on the forum and there seems to be no way to manually reset it. Is there is way to get to the setup screen.

You can't get the Charge 2 back to the setup screen but this should not be a problem. If your brother creates an account in the app on his phone and adds the device as though it were a new fitbit then it will clear any data left on it before connecting it to his account.
If you are going to be around at the time it's worth checking your phone's bluetooth settings to make sure there is no link to the fitbit as this could block connection to his phone.

hi, i have the exact same problem - however, when I try to setup the fitbit charge 2 on my phone as a new device, i keep getting the try again screen with the 3 instructions that ask if my fitbit is powered on, turn off and on the bluetooth etc....it won't recognize the fitbit! although my brother has removed the device from his account, i am unable to connect. also, the fitbit charge 2 displays a random time, if that's any help. the device was not used for a month before this, i just got it today and had my brother remove the device from his account. the reset instructions at https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1606.htm dont work - i am unable to reach step 4 at all! please help, and thank you!
