The alarms are broken. When I set an alarm it repeats even though I have repeat set to off. Please fix this.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @LongIslander. It's great to have you here. The Fitbit Charge 2 has 3 ways to dismiss the silent alarm. You can press the left side button, double tap the tracker, or walk 50 steps. If your tracker doesn't obey any of these commands I would recommend performing a restart by doing the following:
For more information about how the Charge 2 silent alarm works please check out @DerrickS's post.
Let me know how it goes. Catch you later.

- Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
- Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
- Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
- Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
- Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

I think what @LongIslander is referring to is that if an alarm is not set to repeat on the app, it still repeats the next day at the same time. I have several alarms that I toggle on/off as needed. However, on the Charge 2 they repeat no matter the setting is.
On the Charge HR, once I dismissed an alarm on the device, I had to go back into the app to toggle it back on, which is the desired behavior.

@gdio53 Thanks for joining us and for clarifying @LongIslander's problem. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I haven't heard about this issue. I would still recommend performing a restart to your trackers by following the steps above.
Additionally, it could be a good idea setting up your Fitbit Charge 2 as replacement devices.
If none of the above helps please let me know so I can report this issue to the engineering team for further investigation.
Keep up the super stepping.

If you press the side button of the Charge 2 until the Alarm is displayed, and then Press and Hold the side button, it will disable the alarm so that it does not repeat the next day. Later, you can go back to that alarm, and Press and Hold the side button to re-enable the alarm.

I'm having this same problem. I create a new alarm, set the time, and make the toggle for "Repeats" is off. Alarm goes off at correct time, I push the button on the side of my Fitbit to turn off the alarm, that should be the end of it. However, the next day at the exact same time, the alarm goes off again, even though the toggle is still showing no repeats. I've just taken to deleting that alarm as soon as I'm done with it.

@EdsonFitbit I've tried resetting, but it doesn't help, alarms that should not repeat are still repeating the next day. Also, there are other threads that also report issues with the Charge 2 alarms repeating when they should be one time.
@USAF-Larry That's a work-around, not a true solution. I shouldn't have to do anything if I setup an alarm as non-repeating. My CHR doesn't have this problem.

Hey guys @gemdrite @gdio53 @therebbe, thanks for bring this issue to our attention. This issue was already reported to our engineering team and keep in mind that they are working on this to fix it. In the meantime, you can delete the one-time alarm to prevent the alarm from recurring.
We appreciate your patience with this matter. Please let us know if we can assist you further.

I don't believe this issue has been resolved. My blaze has the same problem so I would believe this is an app issue. I have an iOS device. All my single set alarms repeat.

Hey my friend @SunsetRunner, thanks for stopping by! This issue hasn't yet been solved, our team is still working on a fix for this.

Really? Seems like it should be kind of simple to fix. It worked fine in the Charge HR.

It should be easy to do, but did require a firmware update to fix, and that is not as easy to implement.. Fitbit waits until their are several fixes and several feature requests added, and tested before realesingvan update.
BTW it has been fixed in the latest update.

Yup! My friend @Rich_Laue is right, there's a new update available now, if you want to see what's new see this post of @DerrickS.
In order to update your tracker, do the steps I posted here.
Have a good one @rhgood!

What a long answer - that doesn't address the issue in any way. 😂
this bug remains a bug.
Its pretty clear that that none of the Fitbit technicians has a Fitbit. 🤦🏽:male_sign:

@MarreFitbit This issue is not resolved. I have a Charge HR and my alarms repeat daily no matter the setting. I just received a brand-new Fitbit a couple months ago so all the firmware should have been updated (22.22.55.2). This needs to be addressed because it is really annoying. Also, I am noticing that not only does the alarm repeat but they duplicate without any reason. I'll set up one alarm for 7am and I'll see 4 set up on my Fitbit. Please fix these issues!

So this issue... First reported, and acknowledged by Fitbit as a bug in October 2016.
It is now December 2019 (yes I have the latest firmware) and the problem still persists... 3 years later. 🤦🏻
Seriously?!?
I randomly have to get up early for my job. If I set an alarm for 0530... leave REPEATS OFF... If I forget to go into the app and delete the alarm after it wakes me (and the app syncs properly with the device - which is regularly does not) the 0530 alarm will reactivate and inconveniently wake me again the next day. Rather painful and annoying.
Regardless of switch position ALL ALARMS REPEAT EVERYDAY until deleted.

Weird that you are still having this issue. I used to, but it has since been fixed for me. I still have the issue where you can't *not* snooze an alarm (there is no way to just turn it off by pressing the side. It snoozes no matter what.) But it no longer repeats an alarm that isn't set to repeat. Maybe you need to contact them directly now?

I know it's is unusual to revive a post after so long but I did it deliberately (a) to show that this issue has been around for a long time (obviously it doesn't affect everyone), (b) so I don't get a fitbit moderator on misreading the post and telling me that I can just turn repeats off in the app, and (c) because it is the first post that shows up in a Google search.
In my case I never used to have this issue and it appeared after the last firmware update a number of months ago.
Drives me bonkers if I forget to delete the alarm in the app, and get woken up at 0500 when I didn't have to.
