I got my new Fitbit Charge 4 last week. Initially I got it set up fine and all was well. Yesterday evening, it said I needed to upgrade the software on the Fitbit and that it would take over 30 minutes. I set it going at 20:15 yesterday. It is now 16:20 and it is still running the upgrade. It says not to close that screen, so I've had my phone and Fitbit on charge constantly and haven't used either. I really need to use my phone but daren't risk it needing to start over. I have good strong WiFi and the devices are next to each other. Why is it taking so long?

@Finnberry , A warm welcome to the Community Thank you for your message and information.
Do you have any other Bluetooth device connected or near the Charge 4 or the phone?
Is the Fitbit app allowed to run on the background?
If you haven't done so, I recommend you to have a look at this:Why can't I update my Fitbit device?
See you around.
