Updated goal weight and it erased my history - how to get history back???

As I was losing weight, I decided to change my goal weight to and even lower number.  When I did, it erased my history of when I started and all the pounds I've lost.  I want to get that back; does anyone know how to do that?  Please help.

Hi, @ljlm61 , unfortunately, when you set a new weight goal the Fitbit program does, as you have noted, begin all over again with a new starting weight and there is no way to recover the previous information.

Hopefully you do have your weight loss badges?  These should definitely still be there.

I am really sorry not to have better news for you.  It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community, and you might get more help and support by posting in the Manage Weight forums.

Of course you can fix that. I just changed my weight-loss goal a couple of weeks ago and I noticed that my weight-loss was going to start from that day forward.....until I went back into my settings and changed my starting weight back to my original starting weight on my original starting day. Everything is there going back nearly 10 months and my new goal weight is reflected.

I can only help you on the Android App. Go to Weight section on your Dashboard, Go up to the gear (in the upper right corner where it says "Edit Weight Goals" if you long press the gear) and click, Click on Start Date and then Starting Weight to reclaim your info.

I don't know if you have the same access on an iPhone.

I don't know if you can view the photo, but it shows my weight trend and
the white dots are my actual daily weight since July 1st. I didn't lose any
entries of anything. My original goal was 135. I changed it a couple of
weeks ago because I reached 135 and thought I should change it to 128,
which you can see is the new goal line. All of my daily weights under Goal
Progress are still there.
Ask me specifically what you want to know and I'll try to help. Are you
Android or iPhone? I only know Android.
