Vertical stripes on the screen

My Charge 3 has been getting a little unresponsive recently and now the screen has faded with vertical stripes. It won’t reset is there anything I can do to fix this pls

I regret to hear that your Fitbit Charge 3 display shows vertical stripes and that it has been getting a little unresponsive. Thank you for trying to restart before contacting us.

 

In addition to this procedure, I would recommend changing the clock face by following these steps. Besides the regular restart, you can perform a long restart by doing the following:

 

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable. 
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds. 
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration. 
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur. 
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Plug the device into the charging cable again

Thank you for the suggestions

I have tried all these steps a few times but the face is still very faint with stripes, there has been no improvement 😥

Hi LiverbirdLB,

You are not alone, I'm having exactly the same issue, ive also tried all of the regular/long restarts and changing of clock faces, nothing seems to work. it appears to be a fault with the Charge 3.

Hi i am having the same problem, i tried to reset my device and no results.

I purchased my device from amazon. Can you help me? My fitbit charge 3 has two lines down the screen.

I'm having the same issue with my Fitbit. Tried restarting but same lines through the screen.  I've had mine for less than a year and I've never had issues before

Stripey screen issue. Have tried the long restart and it has not solved the issue. I have a completely blank line horizontally through the middle that appeared about a week ago. Yesterday my entire screen developed the vertical stripes reported by many. I’ve had it less than a year. Can I sort it somehow or do I take it back to store for a replacement?

hi same issue here today grey vertical lines down screen and the display cannot be seen tried the resets can you help

Hi

 

i have been having the same issue. I have tried all of the above and I now cannot scroll through the programmes or select any of them on the device itself. 
I’m I tried a reset and still the same issues.

Hi, I have several rows of dead horizontal pixels on my charge 3. Only bought in May this year and the lines have appeared over the last month. I have tried restarting and changing the clock face but the issue is getting worse not better.

Can you advise on the next steps to resolve this issue.
