Waving arms counting as steps-Charge 4

Ok, so I have a Charge 4 and as I'm sitting here typing this it's logging steps, I went to bed with 107 steps and woke up with over 2000 steps. I sit on my arse all day at work and logged 14000 steps. This should definitely be addressed by Fitbit.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community, @Bodayo.

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Charge 4. Thank you for the information provided.

When working at a desk, cooking, or performing other activities with arm movements, a device on your wrist may add some steps. You can find some instructions to improve your Fitbit device's accuracy in this article in the menu "What can I do if my step count seems inaccurate?".

In addition, you can restart your Tracker by following these steps.

To negate extra data, please visit this article, open the menu "How do I delete steps and floors in the Fitbit app?" and follow the instructions.

I moved your post to a new thread to keep the Community organized.

Have a nice day.
