This happened last year and has just happened again, this time with the replacement Charge 3 I was sent
....but never manages to connect.
Bluetooth turned off and on - no difference.
Logged off app - no difference
Rebooted Charge 3 - no difference (version 28.20001.63.5)
Reloaded app (version 3.26.1 (20243519)) on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 (Android 7.0) - no difference.
I have tried pairing direct from Bluetooth but "Unable to pair. Make sure Charge 3 is ready to pair".
It has worked in the past but has started playing up in the last couple of month and would not sync. Sometimes it would sync and then run for a day or so and then stop again.
My husband has no such problems with his Galaxy Tab S3 and Charge 3 and yes, we do have separate accounts. We have also made sure that his Charge 3 is well out of range when we have tried to pair mine with Bluetooth.
Can only believe that Charge 3 is faulty.
Comments/suggestions please.

Same here. Used to sync every day ok. Suddenly it stopped a day ago. I have a Charge 3 and an iPhone.

I have tried every suggestion out there. Completely uninstalled everything removed device taken the latest app again from the App Store signed into account and all seems ok but it will not pair the device. Setup again. Plugged onto charge cable and in range and no other Fitbits in the house. But...
it just says “We found your tracker.”
Connecting.........
It hangs here for ages or..
It sometime offers up the 4 digit code on the Charge 3 screen to do the Pair but then about 1 sec later the device buzzes again and a (X) appears.
