It could be you have just set it up. When your card arrives it will definitely work. I have the free card and have used it via Fitpay no problem.

Me thinks you have the wrong end of the stick! There is the FREE card which I have then one for £9.xx per month and one at £14.xx per month if you want the extra benefits you can pay a monthly fee.

If you want any UK card work with Fitpay get a free Curve card. The link I sent you is for a FREE card and £5.00 when you first use it.

It’s not a con and works really well

Ok when you open the app flick the card left. It starts at £14 then another flick £9 then one more flick left and it’s the free card. You do get more services with the paid card but the free does everything I want plus it works with Fitpay 😊

If you join without the link given you will be charged £5.00 for a physical card. With the link you get a free card and £5.00 when you first use it 😊

Hope this helps......

Harry hope you did realise you don’t need to use the £14.xx per month charge? Unless you like the extra benefits with the paid account.

if you want the free card change it to the free blue card or contact CS to change it for you. 😊

In answer to Colpaco check out money saving expert for further information.

I always in life put things on an imaginary set of scales. Curve has many good points even before being able to use Fitpay. The only down side for me was the Section 75 credit card protection but in the event of a big spend I would use the main credit card for payment so sorted.

On the point of the exchange rate, that was another down side BUT to overcome this I use a Revolute card. Use this code to check it out https://www.revolut.com/referral/frankhl3d

Revolute can then be used via your Curve card to make payment abroad once you have put money onto the card which is dead easy. I used it in Poland and got an excellent exchange rate (check out the rules) and was so easy to use. I now only cary two cards. Curve and Revolute if abroad to get cash with no charges.

In the event I lose my card holder I can put a stop on just two cards. Plus I get a text on each withdraw from my card.

I've got to point out that Fitbit has to start somewhere so the main banks wont be there initially. Also it wasnt that awesome of you to do zero research before purchase.

I've just dumped my fitbit, after only one year and over 200 quid spent I had so many problems with it and now the screen has given up.....so I just went out and purchased a samsung active 2....set up no problem....payments with my bank card.....no problem.....issue resolved .....sorry but bye bye Fitbit you've fell behind in the game and technology has left you behind

Bit late now BUT did you know you could have phoned tech support and they would have sent you a replacement Fitbit The Samsung 2 looks like a good bit of kit BUT only last 1 to 2 days and can't share the data with  Apple Health if you use an iPhone. If you have a Samsung it looks good apart from the battery life, a bit like the Apple watch.

On the replacement the first Fitbit 3 they sent out was not working so had to wait for the second one which is working fine.

no because it's out of warranty and I've had SO many replacements and battling with them previously that I can't deal with the headache of it all, plus they've made themselves very difficult to contact. Luckily I have nothing to do with apple have a samsung phone, so I shall see how long this one lasts

I had issues with the lack of bank support as well. I ended up getting a Starling card. It's handy for those rare times I use the watch to pay for items. Also you can just use the Starling card as a top-up card. You also get monthly interest on the amount you have in the account.
