@MarreFitbit This answer is a bit like saying, here is a new Fitbit, and then people finding out it only tracks Pole Vaulting and Morris Dancing, and if people want you to add running, walking, treadmill etc, they can put in a feature request, and just maybe, eventually, you might possibly get round to adding one or two of them. Or maybe not.
It's now two and a half YEARS since your post, and still the only high Street Bank supported is Santander. None of the big ones. The only other one I've even heard of that is supported now is Starling. But that's online only, and really small!
So the truth is that @Brockenhurst still has a point all these years later, that Fitbit Pay in the UK is useless for the vast majority of UK customers.
What are the prospects for this to improve significantly in any reasonable time period, say within one (more) year?

If you do a search you will see I have a few posts regarding joining Curve. You can then add any bank you like. You get instant text on the spend and if you want to change the card used, you can within 14 days plus many more benefits. I use the free card so don’t think you need to pay a monthly fee. If you need any further info just PM me it’s so easy to use.

I thought it was just me but seemingly not. I’ve just bought Fitbit Versa 3 and it’s so annoying. It seems that the only supporting banks are in the States for goodness sake.
Have you had any joy since your post?

No unfortunately not I even went and got a revolut card to only find out its the MasterCard version that works and not the visa.
I've reported this to revolut they are aware that there's not a lot they can do
The only other option is to open up a Santander account. I believe there was a signing up fee for that bank.

IMHO the best way and best answer is to use any U.K. bank card via Curve. Use this code and get £5.00 free money after you have used the card. https://www.curve.app/join#N25PWJPN
Curve makes payment easy. Paid with the wrong card no problem switch within 14 days. The good thing you can leave your cards at home and use your mobile or Fitpay

That makes no sense - fitbit can't cover uk banks for whatever reason, so we should use some weirdo 3rd part money transfer service that someone is offering with a super dodgy affiliate link and a nearly worthless £5 offer. No. It makes WAY more sense to ditch fitbit, ignore giving some sketchy "the customer is the product"online service access to your bank and personal details, and go research a tracker from a more customer focused company.
I got my fitbit for sleep, spo2 and pay, all of which were cynically mismarketed, and frankly I should have done more research before I fell for their borderline shady marketing tactics. I absolutely won't ever buy another fitbit product, and for sure I'm not creating more problems for myself by using your affiliate link so they can sell my personal data and offline shopping habits to anyone that will hand over a fraction of a penny for it.

So if you have not heard of it it is "weirdo" don't use curve if you don't want to no one is making you but it does allow you to do what you wanted to do. You don't have to use the affiliate either just Google curve card.
