It means it is having problems reading your heart rate, i hope your still alive, just kidding.
It might be the tracker is to lose, or to close to the wrist and over a bone.

I'm sorry but all these people are wrong. The heart with the 2 dots means you are in the fat burning zone. There are also some other symbols as well for the different zones.

I also wish to ask fitbit manufacturers to explain what a heart symbol in the dashboard with a number of dots in Both of its sides signify. The tracker to be able to warn a person about his heart condition.

I am asking about a number of dots not above or below but on both sides left and right of the heart symbol.

@Tapasdutt Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Thank you for your inquiry. This should explain the heart rate symbol you are seeing:
Peak zone, which means your heart rate is greater than 85% of maximum, is the high-intensity exercise zone. The peak zone is for short intense sessions that improve performance and speed.
Cardio zone, which means your heart rate is 70 to 84% of maximum, is the medium-to-high intensity exercise zone. In this zone, you're pushing yourself but not straining. For most people, this is the exercise zone to target.
Fat burn zone, which means your heart rate is 50 to 69% of maximum, is the low-to-medium intensity exercise zone and may be a good place to start for those new to exercise. It’s called the fat burn zone because a higher percentage of calories are burned from fat, but the total calorie burn rate is lower.
When you’re out of zone, which means your heart rate is below 50% of maximum, your heart rate may still be elevated but not enough to be considered exercise.
Let me know how it goes!

I’m not seeing any pictures with your explanation. On my AltaHR there is a heart symbol with two dots over it, what does that mean. Then there’s a heart symbol at times that has a dot above and a dot below, what is that?
