I JUST got it...there's no way I've burned 1,896 calories. I've been on the couch setting it up.

Hello @Lizmiller1963 and welcome to the Help forums.  No need to worry.  There is a weird quirk with the programming.  Those are your BMR calories for the day so far.  Your steps, active minutes, etc., start from the activation time forward.  But those BMR calories are there.  It's just always been that way.

It's always going to show more than you think it should because it's taking into account the number of calories your body burns every day just to stay alive. Just sitting up all day, moving, breathing etc. All burn calories. You burn between 300 and 500 just sleeping 8 hours.
