Hello
I have been reading some discussions and I am quite disappointed to be honest.
We are currently leaving in a world where technology is improving day by day and I cannot understand how Fitbit- one of the bests, if not THE best smartwatch out there- is not coping with the evolution of technology.
We leave in a free world and automatically we have the right to chose whichever phone we want as we are paying for it. Huawei P20 Pro cost me around £700 which is quite a big investment so you can understand it was an absolute shock when I was told this phone is not compatible with my Fitbit.
Why Iphone X (the latest Iphone release on 3rd November 2017) was straight away included in the list of Compatible devices and Huawei P20 Pro (Released on 27th March 2018) is not included in the list as in yet?
I'm assuming you are aware of the massive success and sales records Huawei are currently having and I can see that many people raised this problem with yourselves already.
Why cannot this be fixed? Why this phone not compatible with Fitbit? People spent so much money on these watches and expect to use it with their phones. What is stopping people from buying a £20 unknown smartwatch to be compatible with their phones? Because we love your product and we want to use it but we need to have our rights as customers respected.
I have been on the chat and I was told I cannot be given a time frame and I have to wait. Why someone cannot tell me how long I need to wait to use a Fitbit Product that I have paid good money for?
I am not asking for a 50 years old phone to be included in that list; I am asking for the latest technology phone to be included. Its been already almost 5 months since Huawei have released this product and nothing was done as in yet. Why?
Some people are always buying the new technology. Once a new phone is released they go and buy it. By the time my phone will be compatible with Fitbit most probably a better phone will be released, and then what? another 6 months, maybe 1 year to be included in the compatible devices list?
It shouldn't be like this and I am disappointed. I have two weeks already since I am investing time and energy in entering everything that I eat in my fitbit app so I can keep record of my calories and then suddenly it stopped working and my time is wasted. I should mention that this happen the second I left my Iphone X for Huawei.
Please could you let me know, let all of us that use this phone know, what should we expect? Will this be fixed and our phone added on Fitbit Supported Devices list? When will this happen? No time frame is not acceptable considering my example above- Iphone X was added straight away and different phones with the same technology or even better one- not!
Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Elena

I am the same, I have finally got my fitbit paired to the P20 Pro but no notifications etc. So frustrating!
I have had iPhones from the very beginning so it was a big leap to move over to Huawei & android, it's too expensive to change handsets so will be looking at different trackers soon if the compatibility issue isn't resolved by fitbit.

Hi @Jabster and @HuaweiP20, welcome to the Community! I totally understand you, trust me. I know that there are several Fitbit users using different phone models and they realized a little bit late, that they might not be compatible with Fitbit trackers and watches. And I appreciate your thoughts and comments, since this is the perfect site to share them. This has not gone unnoticed and be sure that I will pass this along.
Now, we as moderators can't tell you when this phone, the Huawei P20 Pro, will be released as compatible, 'cause we have not received updates about it. However, as I always say, you can take a look at some help article that could help you out to make work the main features on your Charge 2:
- Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
- Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
- My Fitbit isn't receiving notifications from my phone
Hello @EFTC, as I mentioned, I don't know when this phone model will be officially released as compatible, but give it a try on those troubleshooting and let me know if those steps work.
Give it a try and let me know how it goes!

Thanks, I have been able to pair and sync my Charge 2 with my Huawei P20 Pro, I do miss receiving notifications on my tracker though 😞
I hope this might be resolved soon, I can see Huawei becoming more & more popular, c'mon fitbit please fix this.

Hey @Jabster, thanks for the update! Yes, you are totally right, Huawei phone models are becoming very very popular and I would love to see them compatible with Fitbit devices. Don't you worry, our team is working to expand the compatible devices list, so please stay tune!
If you have further questions or comments, keep me posted!

I'm also pretty disappointed by the lack of compatibility with the P20 Pro. Huawei is the 3rd largest mobile phone company in the world after Apple and Samsung, so this is a big fail, IMHO. My charge 2 does sync with it, sort of, but it's laggy and slow. Fortunately, Huawei also has their own line of fitness trackers, so I'll probably jump to one of them if the issue with fitbit isn't resolved sooonish. 😞

Hey @Emi801, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! I understand you my friend and I totally agree with you. The Huawei phones have become very popular, and knowing that, our team is always working in order to expand the list of compatible devices, which means, adding different phones models to that list. So I will ask you to be patient while our team is working on it.
I will appreciate your time and patience! Stay tune. 😉

Hey @MonaRam, it is great to see you around more often! As I've mentioned, since the Huawei P20 Pro isn't a compatible device, I'm afraid that you might experience syncing and notifications issues. However, I always recommend the users to review these articles and follow the troubleshooting there. I can't guarantee that they will work but you can give it try. 😉
Keep me posted!

Hey @Torip20, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! I appreciate the time you have taken to try to connect your Charge 2 with the Huawei P20. As I've mentioned, since this is not a compatible device, I'm afraid that they might not work. If you are not getting info in the app, is because it is not syncing. However, you can try to sync with a computer (either a Mac or a PC) and every time you do that, the info will appear on the Fitbit app.
Let me know how it goes!

I had a fitbit charge 2 which sadly I. Lost due to a faulty strap, I decided to upgrade and purchased the charge 3 only to find no notifications work and won't synchronise with my phone .... I ask myself like you did Why ?
I had absolutely no problems at all with my charge to and my huwaei p20 pro ..... So what is different ..... I feel. I've just thrown away a lot of money ...
I am not looking at other companies trackers to see if any are comparable

I hope you are doin' fine @cariadkath77! Thanks for trying what has been suggested along the thread. As I mentioned, it might work or not, however, most likely, due to Bluetooth issues that prevent certain devices, like Fitbit devices, from syncing, our products aren't compatible with the following phones:
