I did the mistake not to check the 'blacklist' of smartphones not connecting to Fitbit devices when I bought my Xiaomi MI A1. No chance to sync with my Fitbit Charge 2.
Is there a salution to this problem?
When is the model off the blacklist?

Phones get tested and white listed based on a number of factors including popularity (sales). The more popular (better selling) a phone is the sooner it gets tested. Sadly, I think your phone is way down on the list. That does not mean it will never be approved nor does it mean it won't work.
Is your tracker already on your account? I have found people with non supported phones are more likely to get them to work if they set up their tracker with another device and then just download the app and sign in.

Hey @Anntho, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! This phone model, the Xiaomi MI A1, isn't on the list of compatible devices, so even if you were able to set up your Charge 2 with it, I can't guarantee that it'll sync periodically or that you can get notifications with it. However, you can give it a try and follow he troubleshooting in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? Just keep in mind that I can't guarantee that it'll work.
Now answering your question, I can tell you that any Fitbit device (either tracker or smartwatch) is compatible with this phone model that you have, but please be patient, 'cause our team is always working in order to add more phones and tablets to the compatible devices list.
Thanks for your participation @SunsetRunner!
Have a nice day guys!

I heard lastly, because Bluetooth protocol standard / low energy is so unstandarize so every producer can implement their own communication algorithm.
However I think that Xiaomi mi A1 I quite common nowadays. I know that Fitbit Stock getting always worse, and they delay spo2 sensor so much. It lets say acceptable risk for buying that device. But when company is so delayed so I not invest their time in compability with new devices I don't want to put my money in sth that is not stable, and cannot survive on the market
Neither any of nokia is is listed what is quite surprisingly.
I would like to buy this device, but sadly Fitbit have to less competitive managers to notice some lacks

My wife's phone is MI A1 and it works. Sometimes, it won't sync. However, removing the device from phone Bluetooth devices' list and adding back again worked.

Hey guys, @pranabdavinci and @Murtag! Welcome to the Community! I appreciate your feedback and comments. Please note that our team is always working in order to add more devices to the compatible ones, so a higher number of users can enjoy the Fitbit watches and trackers, but this takes time, so I will ask you to be patient. If sometimes your phones work, it could be 'cause they are under testing, but I can't tell you when are they gonna be released as full compatible.
I appreciate your patience and understanding!

Fyi. My daughter's Mi A1 used to sync with her Alta HR .However, it has stopped syncing since 2 weeks ago. Since then, I am unable to get them to connect again even after reset and reinstall.

Hey @asiayeah, I hope you are doin' fine! Well, since the Xiaomi Mi A1 is not a compatible device, I can't guarantee that it is gonna work with any Fitbit device, or if it connects but it won't give issues in the future. However, I don't know if you already tried, but you can take a look at the tips in this help article: Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
Let me know how it goes!

Thanks for the troubleshooting information.
I've tried to follow it, but it is still not connecting after I enter the 4 digits verification code. The fitbit app simply stucks afterwards. It is certainly not a good user experience.
It connected fine before. Nothing has been changed except the latest fitbit app update of Dec 17. For now, I suspect the latest fitbit app has broken compatibility with some phone models.

Hey @asiayeah, I hope you are doin' fine! I apologize for the delay in answering. Thanks for taking the time to try some of the troubleshooting I have suggested. Well, this phone has not been released as a compatible device so I'm afraid that even if it worked before with your Charge 2, is not guaranteed that it'll constantly work. So I will ask you to be patient while our team is working on expand the compatible devices list.
Let me know if you have further questions!

Ive been using fitbit on Xiami mi A1 for 2-3 month without problems both Versa and Change 3. Im a big fan of the product but after upgrading to Android Pie nothing works. Ive tried reboot of both devices and reinstall of the app.

For everyone's record, I am using an Alta HR. I have just tried again after upgrading to the latest Fitbit app (Jan 11 update), but it still cannot connect after entering the pairing number. I checked and my Mi A1 is running Android 9.
Now I don't even know if Fitbit app isn't compatible with Android 9 or not. The worse is it used to work but stopped working and Fitbit doesn't seem to care.

Hey
I got it working again.
I read this https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Android-9-0-Pie-not-able-to-sync/m-p/3200988/highlight/t...
And found the Versa was still in my "previously connected devices" in the bluetooth settings. Removing it from there solved it.
So my complete rute was as follows:
1. Unpair Watch from my account
2. Pair again using compable phone (i my case a iPad)
3. Remove Watch from "previously connected devices" in the bluetooth settings.
4. Bluetooth with the watch works on Xiaomi mi A1 again
The first 2 steps hopefully not needed

Hey guys, @JaromirPencik and @asiayeah, I hope you are doin' fine! Well, this phone model, the Xiaomi MI A1 isn't a compatible phone to work with Fitbit devices so I'm afraid that It may not connect with your Charge 2 as expected. I know that there have been some inconveniences with the Android Pie system, but for non compatible devices, I can't guarantee that there will be a solution. Anyways, please take a look at the tips in the link that @PetW posted above. These inconveniences might get resolved.
Let me know how it goes!

Hey @pranabdavinci, hope you are doin' fine! Sounds great that your wife's Xiaomi MI A1 is working with the Charge 2. The fact that some phone models are not on the compatible devices list, doesn't mean that they won't work with Fitbit devices. Sometimes they are just under testing, so that is why they work but not as constantly and completely as a compatible one.
Let me know if you have further questions!
