So I've been waiting for a while for a new firmware update, and it appears after the latest one the new firmware's is rarely happening. Fitbit is taking their effort in releasing new devices, yet I have a feeling they don't pay much attention anymore to their latest Fitbit Charge 3 device anymore.
I'm talking about firmware updates that includes/enables/adds:
- SpO2 (Seriously, it's overdue, do something about this!)
- Keep device/clock screen on permanently or Longer Screen Time.
- Improve auto brightness in darkness.
- Rearrange/Customize Charge 3 Apps/Stats View
- Find your phone
- Log water intake on the Charge 3
And the list goes on. Some of these "suggestions" aren't even supposed to be suggestions but should be as default in the software, imo. Such as the SpO2. Some devices already have it for ages, yet... for some odd reason no GUI was implemented for it yet. BUT was advertised (in the beginning) that it included a Sp02 sensor so you'd assume it included a way of seeing that as well.
Getting a bit tired of waiting, honestly.. Especially for a 150$ device.

Almost a full year with no new firmware updates with the exception of the recent one that only a few people will get. 😕 like all attention is going to the Charge 4.

Agreed.
Seems like New Products and New Sales is the only focus.
Very little in major software or firmware updates. Just a few small fixes.
Nothing like PC software or smart phone updates.
I think Fitbit is trying to sell us if we want updates we have to buy the new product versions.
And not to expect major updates.
