hi all, another charge 4 strap connector issue

it will not keep the strap secure, im going to look at buying a faulty charge 4 and replacing the part. im just wondering if anyone has had any luck with this?

ive seen this can be done with the charge 3 but cant see anything for the charge 4

i dont want to buy a full band as i dont like the look of them
