White Lines on Charge 3 display

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The white lines have started on my Charge 3 - I've read that others are having this same issue. Mine is also less than 2 years old. I have changed the clock face, but that didn't help. I have done the troubleshooting already suggested for others and nothing has worked. I just wanted to add my voice here so that FitBit can track the prevalence of this issue. I'm hoping it can

Hi @Peachyteachy, welcome to the Community Forums.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to restart your Charge 3 and if the issue persists, please try our long restart procedure following the below steps:

  1. Connect the device to the charging cable.
  2. While the device is plugged into the charging cable, press and hold the button down for 15 seconds.
  3. The device turns on and shows a battery icon. Two vibrations occur: first a short vibration, then a medium vibration.
  4. The device turns off.
  5. The device turns on and shows a progress bar and short vibrations occur. The progress bar completes. Note: A total of 7 short vibrations occur.
  6. Remove the device from the charging cable. The device shuts down.
  7. Important: Please plug the device into the charging cable again.

I'll be here if further assistance is needed.

Hello - thanks for your response. I followed all of the steps. The
vibrations occurred as described. This didn't work. My screen is now almost
completely black. How do we possibly fix this issue?

Thanks,
