White lines on Charge 3 screen and fitbit just wants to give me 25% off a new product

I'm curious to see how many of you out there have encountered an issue with the display screen turning white/ having white streaks on your charge 3.  I just had this happen and a factory reset didn't correct it.  As my fitbit is 13 months and 2 weeks old, I have missed the warranty and all fitbit will offer is 25% off a new product. Customer service says its not a common issue, but I swear I saw this was a common issue of this particular fitbit.

mine stopped syncing and the date was wrong. I was told how to reboot to solve the problem. When I rebooted my Fitbit a thin, horizontal, white line appeared on the top part of my screen. I was told to reboot it again to make the line go away. It didn’t. A couple months later a second line appeared at the bottom. Again was told to reboot. This did not fix the problem. Was told there was nothing I could do about it. NOW there are 3 lines at the too and 3 at the bottom.

And the discount isn't on any that you want just ones they want to give it to you on.

  • Hi there, I had mine for almost 2 years. yes this exact thing happen to me,  I contacted support and they only gave me 25% off a new one, ( I bought a new one)also when I was talking ( chat) with them, I'm pretty sure they gave me extra warranty but not quite sure because when I got to that msg in the chat the chat was done and they closed the chat page before finished reading!
  • Now my question is does anyone know if we can get extra warranty, because I'm not looking forward on replacing this again in 2 years from now!
