White vertical lines on Fitbit face-Charge 3

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have owned my Charge 3 since the beginning of the year and early on experienced some problems with screen deterioration. When I last charged the device, when I removed it from the charger, I noticed white lines running vertically through the face. I have tried all the solutions offered in the community forum but nothing has worked. Is there anything else I can try?

I agree. It looks like Fitbit may have caused the problem.

OK, fixed the problem.  Took it back to the retailer for a refund.

🤣 I did get a reply on Twitter, basically sent me the link to reset it which I’ve done a million times, and asked for my email address. Nothing more since.

Just strange how so many have the same issue after just charging our Fitbits at the end of last week? 🤔Mine was perfectly fine on Friday morning?

Update. Fitbit have asked me for my email address, home address, where I bought my Fitbit etc to pass to a Technical Team. That was about 9am this morning. Not heard anything since.

That's better than I got. Like I said they pretty much told me I was out of luck and to buy a new one.  And they haven't even responded to my original thread about this! So disappointed. I've been a fitbit customer for almost 5 years now!

Hi,

Did you send them a message on Twitter? That’s where they are replying to me. They’ve sent a couple of resets to try but it’s the ones posted on the forum that we’ve all tried a million times. Will keep you posted.

I used the chat feature to chat with an advisor yesterday morning and by thr afternoon I had confirmation of a replacement being sent out. They haven’t replied to the thread on here though, so probably good idea to try the chat for a prompt response. I was within the warranty though, not sure if your 5 years is with the same Fitbit or not.

Hi, I’ve been using Twitter to speak to them. I’ve only had one Fitbit for the last 18 months and it’s been great up until now. My warranty book says 2 years so fingers crossed I get mine repaired or replaced. My query was getting passed to a technical team and I’ve sent them a pic of my screen.

I too have been offered a replacement so I’m happy with the outcome. I did have a 2 year warranty. The other option offered was 50% off a new one, but happy to take the replacement 😉

Have you reported it to Customer Support? I tried all the resets but nothing worked. Now getting a replacement as mine was within the 2 year warranty?

Thanks for your reply. How did you get a 2 year warranty?

No problem. If you bought and live in the EEA you get a 2 year warranty?
