My Fitbit Charge 3 displays a different number of calories burned than the Fitbit app does. Yes I made sure they were synced.

Hello there @Taterdragom, welcome to the Community Forums. We're sorry for the late response, due to recent events affecting our operations, we're taking longer to respond.

I'll be glad to help you to figure out why you see a different amount of calories on your Charge 3 and the Fitbit app. Thanks for making sure both were synced.

While reading your post I was wondering if this was the first time you saw a difference in the calories? By any chance, do you manually logged an activity that day? Do you have a food plan?

If you manually logged an activity, typically, your data will be recalculated as the manually logged activity takes precedence over the data tracked while wearing your Charge 3 at that point in time. For example, if you're wearing your Charge 3 and walking you burned 100 calories, then you go to your Fitbit app and manually log an activity that starts and ends at that point in time for say 1 hour, Fitbit will calculate how many calories you burned and it may bring your calorie count to something below 100. We recommend manually logging activities if you forgot to wear your tracker to avoid this kind of discrepancy if your data. If you did manually log an activity, I'd recommend delete it to bring back your original results.

On the other hand, if you have a Food Plan, this would also explain why you see a different amount of calories. You can find a great explanation about this by clicking here.
