Before recently, the sleep tracker on my Fitbit worked fine. Now, it only records about half of my sleep for each night. I usually wake up in the middle of the night and fall back asleep, but the second half of my sleep isn’t recorded. How can I fix this? I’ve tried resetting the charger so please don’t tell me to do that.

And yet Fitbit wants you to think it’s solvable by following a thousand steps to reset the tracker and still denies it’s a programming issue. Ridiculous. This is my very last Fitbit tracker.

Hi Marree, I am having the same problem. I don’t use the sleep now feature I let the Fitbit notice when I sleep. It pick up when I fall asleep most of the time and continues to about 1-3am and then no more recording. I have sleep set to sensitive and heart rate on constant. I have tried what appears to be all the ‘standard’ troubleshooting tips that I have found for similar issues but it still won’t record. I hope you can help 🙂
thanks,
matt.

Hi so does this mean it may be better to change the Fitbit 'sleep' off from sensitive if I do move a lot in my sleep?
thanks,
matt.

I have the same issue as Texpat1. I've used the Versa 2 for years and it has tracked my sleep well. Recently, it started only recording 1/2 of my night, either the first 3 or so hours or the last 3 or so hours. Because I wake up in the middle of the night, it no longer tracks my entire night as it used to. i've cleaned sensors, updated Fitbit, updated ios, turned fitbit off/on. Still not working.
