Hello,
I received my Charge 3 today and was very disappointed to learn that there is no way to change the screen turning off in 5 seconds. I am a nursing student and was hoping to use this watch to count patients' heart rates and respirations (using the timer function) but this cannot be done when the screen shuts off. My question is, will this ever be an option on the Charge 3 (as in, a future update?) I really like everything else about it but will have to return it if it will never have this function. If the function will be coming soon I may keep it and use a regular watch at my clinicals. Someone from the Fitbit team, please let me know.

This thread was started in Oct of 2018. When will there be a decision on this? I need to know if I should return my fitbit. This feature is definitely needed.

Has the screen timeout issue been fixed for Charge 3? Just need yes or not so I can return this watch if not fixed. Thanks.
