Hoo, boy. It's been a solid second since I started using my Charge 2 device again. I seem to recall from the olden days that the device would track my location, and I could see a map of my activity--be they walks or runs (not running much these days). But I can't find any maps! Can y'all help me?
* Yes, the Fitbit is synched to my Apple phone.
* Yes, bluetooth is on.
* Yes, I permit location 'always'.
What gives?
One thing -- the Fitbit seems to MASSIVELY overestimate my distance walked every day. I believe my apple phone is actually better at estimated my mileage. So I wanted to view a map of Fitbit's recorded activity to get a sense for where it might be going wrong. *And* I just like having a map. 🙂

Aaaoook. I've been doing searches online to figure this out. So it looks like the Fitbit will only map my distance if I activate the activity of choice, e.g., on my watch I activate "run" or "walk." Otherwise, the phone does not map my movements as I'm just generally going about my day, e.g. walking around the house, going to the grocery store, etc.
This leaves me with the question of why and how to figure out why my FitBit is massively overestimating my daily "general living" mileage. For example, on a low-activity day, my FitBit estimated I'd traversed about 5.5 miles (chores, walking around home and home office, and walking dog), whereas my iphone much more correctly estimated that I'd traversed about 3.7 total miles that day. I made a point of keeping my phone on me all day, so the difference cannot be attributed to my phone being stationary while the Fitbit and I went walking. ??
