App cannot find my device. I've tried deleting app and redownloading. Hold button down for 3 seconds on Charge HR and it does nothig except turn notifications off on device.

I don't know if this is at all connected to your Bluetooth problem, but . . . I started having Bluetooth problems today after applying a Microsoft cumulative update to WIndows 10 Home version 1809 for 64-bit systems. I backed out this update and now I can communicate between my Fitbit and my PC again. Microsoft has stated that they will be tightening Bluetooth security on the feature 1903 upgrade and will no longer recognize insecure hardware, but I am not on 1903, yet, I'm puzzled and concerned about the future of my FitBit, since I can't just go on blocking updates forever. Anyone else have an experience like this?

Hello @c_shel6 to restart your tracker it needs to be in its charger and charging.
Is your Charge HR still connected to your Fitbit account?

Yes, my device is still connected to my account. I'll remember your advice about how to restart the Fitbit, but the solution was actually something else. Here's what happened: 1) Microsoft applied an update to my PC; 2) PC stopped connecting to ALL Bluetooth devices, not just the Fitbit; 3) I backed out the update and suddenly the fitbit could connect again. 4) But because I didn't understand how to make the backout permanent, it re-applied itself again, and again Fitbit could not connect again; 4) I cold-booted the PC (this probably finished applying something?) and now Fitbit and other Bluetooth devices are connecting without problems. Solution: if Bluetooth stops working, check to see if new updates just got applied and, if so, reboot.
